Requirements for the Visa Application(s)

Commercial Visit Visa:

Commercial Visit Visas are available for the purpose of conducting commercial discussions, as well as negotiations with companies within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Authorisation by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs MUST have been obtained by a sponsor company in Saudi Arabia, prior to your application for a visa.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Invitation letter from the sponsor company in Saudi Arabia.         
  • Letter of introduction from your UK employer (must be on the company letterhead).
  • Saudi Arabia company registration certificate.
  • Recent monthly payslip from your UK employer.
  • Proof of residence (for any foreign passport).

 

Working Visit Visa:

Working Visit Visas are available for the purpose of undertaking short-term, non-commercial work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Authorisation by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs MUST have been obtained by a sponsor company in Saudi Arabia, prior to your application for a visa.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Invitation letter from the sponsor company in Saudi Arabia.         
  • Letter of introduction from your UK employer (must be on the company letterhead).
  • Saudi Arabia company registration certificate.
  • Recent monthly payslip from your UK employer.
  • Proof of residence (for any foreign passport).

 

Family Visit Visa:

Family Visit Visas are available for relatives of residents in Saudi Arabia, who wish to make a short-term visit to the kingdom. Authorisation by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs MUST have been obtained by the sponsoring resident in Saudi Arabia, prior to your application for a visa.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Invitation letter from your Saudi sponsor.
  • Iqama copy of inviter.
  • Passport copy of inviter.
  • Proof of relationship between inviter and invitee.
  • Proof of residence (for any foreign passport).

 

Government Visit Visa:

Government Visit Visas are available for the purpose of visiting government agencies within the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Authorisation by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs MUST have been obtained by the sponsor government agency in Saudi Arabia, prior to your application for a visa.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Invitation letter from your Saudi sponsor.
  • Proof of residence (for any foreign passport).

 

Escort Visit Visa:

Escort Visit Visas are available for applicants and holders of business and commercial visas who wish to apply for their spouses and children (under the age of 18 years old) to accompany them to Saudi Arabia. No letter of invitation is required this type of visa.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Proof of relationship.
  • Proof of residence (for any foreign passport).

 

Business Visit Visa:

Business Visit Visas are available for the owners, chairpersons or directors of companies and corporations, who wish to travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without the need for a letter of invitation from a company in Saudi Arabia. Applicants are required to submit proof of their business credentials. Business Visit Visa applicants may also apply for their spouses and children (under the age of 18 years old) to accompany them, however such applications must be made under an Escort Visa.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Bank statement of your company.
  • Certification of your company from Companies House.
  • Letter of Introduction (must be on the company letterhead).
  • Proof of tax returns.
  • Proof of residence (for any foreign passport).

 

Mission and Organisation Visit Visa:

Mission and Organisation Visit Visas are available for the purpose of visiting diplomatic missions and other organisations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Authorisation by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs MUST have been obtained by the sponsor Mission or Organisation in Saudi Arabia prior to your application for a visa.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Invitation letter from the Saudi sponsor.
  • Letter of introduction from a British company, ministry or organisation in the United Kingdom (must be on the company letterhead).
  • Proof of residence (for any foreign passport).

 

Personal Visit Visa:

Personal Visit Visas are available for those wishing to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for reasons that are not related to business or family. Authorisation by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs MUST have been obtained by the sponsor Mission or Organisation in Saudi Arabia prior to your application for a visa.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Invitation letter from the Saudi sponsor.
  • Proof of residence (for any foreign passport).
  • Flight detail of applicant.

 

Extension of Exit (Re-Entry) Visa:

Individuals holding valid residency cards may apply to extend their exit re-entry visas if it has expired.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Copy of valid residency card and electronic request of Exit re-entry visa.
  • Any other relevant documents, depending on the reason for requesting the extension.

 

Diplomatic and Special Visit Visa:

Diplomatic and Special Visit Visas are available for holders of diplomatic or special passports. Authorisation by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs may be required; if so, it must have been obtained prior to your application for a visa.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • A letter from the relevant Embassy or Department specifying the type of visa required:
    • Purpose of the trip.
    • Proposed length of stay.
    • The rank of the applicant.
  • Flight details.

 

Residency Visa:

Residency visas are available for certain relatives of work residents in Saudi Arabia. Permitted relatives include: spouses, sons (under the age of 18 years old) and unmarried daughters on proof of marital status. Authorisation by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs MUST have been obtained by the sponsoring resident in Saudi Arabia prior to your application for a visa.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Invitation letter from the Saudi Sponsor.
  • Proof of relationship between the inviter and the invitee (this must be authenticated by Foreign and Commonwealth Office FCO).
  • For applicants aged 15 years and above, a medical report authenticated by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office FCO.
  • Proof of Maritial status, for unmarried daughters.
  • For applicants aged 18 years old and over, a police certificate, obtained from acro.police.uk, attested by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Only for applicants aged 18 and over.

 

Residency Visa (for new born):

Residency visas are available for new born babies, for the purpose of bringing the newly-born babies, of residents, into Saudi Arabia. The baby must be younger than one year old.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • The baby’s birth certificate authenticated by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)
  • A copy of the parents’ residency card (Iqama).
  • A copy of the mother’s exit re-entry visa.
  • The mother’s original passport.

 

Residency Visa (for new born):

Work Visit Visa:

Work Visit Visas are available for the purpose of undertaking long-term employment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Authorisation by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs MUST have been obtained by a sponsor company in Saudi Arabia, prior to your application for a visa. Also, the nationality and the job title of the applicant must be identical to the details given to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for authorisation.

Requirements:

  • Passport with at least six months validity having two blank pages facing each other.
  • 2 photos with a white background.
  • Invitation letter from the sponsor company in Saudi Arabia.         
  • Medical report attested by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
  • A copy of the contract of employment, confirmed by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • A police certificate, attested by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
  • A copy of certificates for academic qualifications, attested by the Saudi Cultural Office, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Saudi Embassy. Academic qualifications must be relevant to the proposed employment in the Kingdom.
